Jakob Bosch

M.Sc. (Geophysik)

Jakob Pflüger studied Geosciences in a joint degree programme of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and the Technical University of Munich with a particular focus on Geophysics. During his Bachelor’s thesis he worked in the field of paleomagnetism and magnetostratigraphy. In the process he measured the remnant magnetization of the Earth’s Magnetic field in sedimentary rock samples to magnetically date the Permian-Triassic extinction event (252 Ma ago).

There, he completed the international master’s programme through English with the main focus on seismology in 2018. In his Master’s thesis, he dealt with refraction seismic data gathered during the “GRAME” geothermal project (for development of a 3D-subsurface model) in the whole urban area of Munich in 2015 and its correlation with the data determined in his own tests.

Since autumn 2018, Jakob Pflüger has been working in our law firm as a patent engineer.
